The malicious image of sharks should have been outdated long ago. Sharks play an essential role in the ocean: They are at the top of the food chain, maintaining balance in our oceans. At the same time, as scavengers, they prevent the spread of disease. Their extinction would result in a complete collapse of the marine ecosystem : without sharks, there would be no ocean. And without the ocean, there would be no life.
